Ending youth homelessness is possible, but it requires a coordinated community and statewide effort. Youth and young adults that are experiencing homelessness often face numerous obstacles to obtaining housing security and are especially vulnerable to trafficking for sex and/or labor, physical abuse, criminal justice involvement, illness and suicide. National Housing Week of Action: Call-In Day

President Trump’s 2018 budget reflects a cruel indifference to the millions of low income seniors, people with disabilities, families with children, veterans, and other vulnerable people who are struggling to keep a roof over their heads. It would slash federal investments in affordable housing at HUD by nearly 15% or $7.4 billion, compared to Fiscal Year (FY) 2017.  The proposed cuts could mean more than 250,000 people could lose their housing vouchers.
